Janice Alice Rial
Janice Alice Rial passed away unexpectedly on December 16, 2024 in Jamestown, NY. She was 70 years old.
Ms. Rial was born on July 30, 1954 in Vienna, Virginia. She graduated with honors from Randolph Central High School in 1972. She attended SUNY Fredonia and Northern Arizona University. She was a lover of learning and spoke French and some of the Native American language of Hopi. She was a teacher and tutor in the Jamestown area for decades.
Ms. Rial was friendly, intelligent and full of character. She loved children and animals. Her hobbies included drawing, painting, reading and singing. She also loved watching her favorite movies and keeping in touch with her family and lifelong friends.
Ms. Rial is survived by her daughter, Natasha Hanley, and 2 grandchildren, Grace and Nicholas, all of California. She is survived by 9 siblings: Peter (Ginger) Pringle of Jamestown, Michael Pringle of Jamestown, Michele (Don) Constantino of Asheville, Lynn (Thomas) Shields of Randolph, Aleta Pringle of Jamestown, Annette (Je?) Carlson of Arizona, Stephanie Pringle of Jamestown, Angela Pringle of New York City and Patrick Pringle of Louisiana. Ms. Rial is also survived by 15 kind and loving nieces and nephews.
Ms. Rial was preceded in death by her parents Donald and Janice (West) Pringle and her precious stillborn son, baby Lindsey.

Ms. Rial will be remembered and a prayer will be dedicated during Catholic Mass at St. James on January 26th at 8am. All are welcome to attend.
