Catherine A. “Cathy” Rumbaugh

She was born on August 30, 1947 in Rural Valley, PA, the eldest daughter of eight children born to the late Homer E. and Elizabeth M. Hankinson Weaver.

Cathy attended Shamrock High School in Pennsylvania. She had lived in Onoville before moving to Frewsburg.

Prior to retirement, she had worked at Lutheran Social Services for 37 years retiring as a housekeeping supervisor. In earlier years, she had worked at Monarch Plastics.

In her spare time, she enjoyed making quilts, reading, playing bingo with her uncle Rich, and visiting family and friends.

Cathy is survived by her daughter Lisa Rumbaugh; granddaughter Leanna Rumbaugh; two sisters Linda and Mabel; and two brothers Jim and Ron.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Rumbaugh, a sister Betty, and two brothers Daniel and Homer.

There will be no service or visitation observed.
