Carol B. Van Why

Carol B. Van Why, 83, of Jamestown, passed away Friday December 6, 2024, at UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA.

She was born July 2, 1941, in Stroudsburg, PA, the daughter of the late Woodrow and Stephanie Yusczyk Van Why, Sr.

Carol enjoyed going on shopping trips, singing, music, dining out, socializing and daytime activities.

Surviving is her brother Woodrow (Joy Alene) Van Why Jr. of Tonawanda NY, and nieces Jill Alene (Cory) Spoonmore and Kristin Paige (Jason) Brown.

A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, December 12, 2024, in the Lind Funeral Home and friends will be received an hour prior to the service from 2 to 3 p.m. in the funeral home.

A private graveside service will be held for the family.

Burial will be in Elmlawn Memorial Park.
