Bradley W. “Brad” Gustafson
Bradley W. “Brad” Gustafson, 65, of Ashville, N.Y., passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at UPMC Chautauqua.
Brad was born on May 18, 1959, in Jamestown, N.Y., the son of the late David Gustafson and Romaine Pfancook Gustafson of Jamestown, N.Y.
Brad graduated from Jamestown High School in 1977, and he worked at Hartley Buick in his younger years. Brad worked at Cummins Engine Plant on the engine test team for many years and retired from there.
He was an active member of Big Tree Sportsman’s Club. He was an avid bowler. Brad enjoyed racing RC cars and liked antique cars. He was an avid camper and camped at Hidden Valley Campground (Jellystone Park) for many years.
In addition to his father, Brad was preceded in death by his wife Martha E. “Marti” Sundquist Gustafson whom he married on September 5, 1998, and who died on September 12, 2024, and his stepson: Ryan Gunnell.
Brad is survived by his mother: Romaine Gustafson of Jamestown, N.Y.; a son: Barry Gustafson (Angelia Pierce) of Great Valley, N.Y.; a daughter: Sheena Gustafson (Michael Longway) of Fort Lauderdale, Fl; three brothers: Bruce (Jean) Gustafson, Brent Gustafson and Brian (Tammy) Gustafson; five grandchildren: Nolan Gunnell (Annalisah Green), Payton Gunnell, Zaira Gustafson, Bryce Gustafson and Zoey Longway and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Big Tree Sportsman’s Club, 5207 Waltonian Dr., Ashville, N.Y. 14710.
