Mary (Jose) Loomis
Randolph – Mary (Jose) Loomis, 79, of Sample Hill Road, Randolph, passed away Monday, (November 18, 2024) at the Heritage Park Rehab and Skilled Nursing.
She was born April 13, 1945, in Jamestown, the daughter of the Ted and Violet (Huddy) Jose.
Mary was a 1963 graduate of Falconer Central School. She formerly worked at the Jamestown Mutual Insurance Company and was the Co-owner operator of the Loomis Dairy Farm in Randolph, alongside her husband Doug for 45 years.
She was a member of the Randolph Garden Club (Past President), St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, New York State Ladies Home Bureau and participated in the annual Cattaraugus County Fair with flower arrangements and crafts and had won many ribbons over the years.
Her interests included, crafts, flowers, gardening, and decorating for holidays. She was an avid reader and was a huge fan of The Beatles and Hank Williams Jr.
She is survived by her husband; Douglas E. Loomis, whom she married May 21, 1966 at the Our Lady of Loreto Catholic Church in Falconer, a daughter, Michelle (Brian) Milks of Chardon, Ohio, son; Mark (Jennifer) Loomis of Randolph, five grandchildren; Hunter, Brandon and Samantha Loomis, Connor and Allison Milks, two great grandchildren; Gracelynn and Terrilynn and four brothers; Dennis Jose of Falconer, Richard Jose of Buffalo, Ted Jose of Jamestown and Lynn Jose of Dunkirk.
As per her wishes, there will be no services held. A Celebration of life will be held at a later date and will be announced.
