Keith A. Miller
Keith A. Miller, 84, of Asvhille, NY, passed away Friday, November 15, 2024. He was born on April 12, 1940 in Bingham, PA to the late William and DeLena Cable Miller.
He was a graduate of Bradford Area High School in 1960 and served in the US Army from 1963- 1965 as a gunner on a 105 MM Howitzer self propelled. He was employed at Stateside Motors (now Luv Toyota) from 1963 until he reitred in 1997 where he achieved the status of Master Technician from Toyota.
He was an avid outdoorsman, where he enjoyed activities with the Allegheny Outdoor Club such as camping, hiking, biking, and kayaking. It was at that time he completed the 96 mile Pennsylvania portion of the North Country Trail in the Allegheny National Forest. He also enjoyed his woodlot where he cut firewood to sell as a hobby. Another favorite was travelling, especially bus trips. He had visitied all 50 states and all but two of the Canadian provinces. One of his favorite trips was to Greece in 2019. In earlier years he enjoyed motorcycle camping trips to BMW rallies around the United States and also rallies in the Adirondacks with friends. He and his brother-in-law enjoyed many motorcycle trips through Pennsylvania. He is most proud of completing the bicycle trip along the Erie Canal from Buffalo to Albany at age 65!
Memberships included the Lakewood Rod & Gun, the Herman Kent Post of the American Legion and Harmony Senior Citizens and Harmony Historical Society. He attended the Panama Methodist Church.
Keith is survived by a step-son, Scott (Jeannine) Canaan; two step-grandsons, Adam (Emily) Canaan and Jason Canaan; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by the mother of his son, Carol Fox Miller; his second wife, Karen Backus Miller; his son, Steven K. Miller; his parents; brothers, Cecil Miller and Mervin Miller; and sisters, Elaine Angevine and Pamela Mack.

The family will receive friends for visiting hours from 4-7pm Friday, November 22, 2024 at Lind Funeral Home.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at Panama Methodist.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
