Frank Lawrence Meier

Father, brother, and friend Frank Lawrence Meier, age 64, of Clymer, NY, unexpectedly passed away the night of October 24, 2024, in a motor vehicle accident, he was doing what he always loved to do, and that was driving.

Frank was born in Cuba, NY on May 28, 1960 to Frank R. Meier and Jacqueline G. Corbin Meier. He grew up in Lakewood, NY and graduated from Southerwestern in 1979. During his younger years, he developed a love for Chautauqua Lake, swimming, being around boats and sailing. Frank married Karen A. Brewer on April 25, 1987 and they were married for a total of 23 years, they divorced but remained lifelong best friends. He was a born-again Christian, who found great comfort in his faith in God, and because of his faith, he remained sober and active in AA for many years. His favorite scripture was Psalms 23 “The Lord is my Shepherd”.

During Franks working years, he was a Roofing Professional, where he was self-employed. During his later years, Frank really enjoyed his home in Clymer, NY, where he enjoyed the simple things like his view from his porch of the Clymer Pond, getting to go out to breakfast or dinner at The Dutch Village, going for long drives, and just spending quality time with his family. Frank had an uncanny ability to find happiness in his daily activities, his laugh was contagious to anyone who was around him. Franks hobbies included fishing, boating, classic cars, and antiques in general.

Fortune, his sisters Kathy Brown, Susan Moon, Joni (Joe) Carone, nieces and nephews Melissa (Aaron Restivo) Anderson, Kevin Anderson, Andrew Anderson, Megan (Nate) Glaser, Nick (Kelly) Carone, seven great nieces and nephews, and one great-great niece.
