Barbara J. Graham
Barbara J. (Flasher) Graham 84, of Randolph, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, Nov. 18, 2024, surrounded by her family at her side.
She was born Feb. 10, 1940, in Youngsville, Pa., the daughter of the late Leroy S, and Blanche Geneva (VanGuilder) Flasher.
She attended Sugar Grove Grade School and Eisenhower High School. She lived in Torpedo, Pa. with her first husband, Glenn Stover and after his passing, relocated to the Randolph area with her second husband David, with whom they have remained for the past 48 years. During that time, she was a Home Health Care Aide, worked as caretaker at Camp Timber Crest in Randolph for 13 years and retired as caretaker at Camp Sugarbush in Kingsman Ohio with the Girl Scouts of America.
Barb was a member of the East Randolph Methodist Church. Her family and grandchildren were her everything. She enjoyed sharing her love of the outdoors, where she could be found outside tending to her flowers, plants. She loved animal and bird watching. She enjoyed traveling to new places. During her illness, she enjoyed watching her favorite program “The Mountain Men”.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, David L. Graham, whom she married on April 12, 1975 in Lander, Pa., 3 sons; Kevin (Lori) Stover of Tidioute, Pa., Patrick Stover of Garland, Pa., Stanley Stover of Randolph, 2 daughters; Kimberly Mighells and Ginger (Chris) Oyer all of Randolph, 3 stepsons; David (Beverly) Graham of Sugargrove, Pa., Johnathan (Jennifer) Graham Bethany Beach DE and Greg (Diane) Graham of Randolph, 2 step-daughters; Merikay McDunn of Warren and Julianne (Charles) Lucas of Jacksonville, FL., 19 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and a sister, Patricia Conklin of Falconer.
She was preceded in death by a great grand-daughter; Haley Mighells and siblings; Leroy (Sonny) and Howard Flasher and Frances Buckley and first husband Glenn Stover.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 4-7 PM, Friday, (November 22, 2024) in the Van Rensselaer & Son Funeral Home, 14 Church Street, Randolph, New York 14772, and also from 10 AM to the start of the service at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 23, 2024 from the East Randolph Global Methodist Church, 122 Church Street, East Randolph, New York. Burial will follow in the Randolph Cemetery.
