Linda Mae (Ahlers) Bagley

She was born April 22, 1957 in Springville, NY the daughter of Herbert E. and Ardis M. (Darbee) Ahlers.

Linda was a 1975 graduate of Randolph Central School and retired from the NYS Department of Recreation and Tourism, Allegany State Park, where she was a Carpenter. In earlier years, she hitch hiked to California, where she worked construction and was a truck driver while in Felton, CA.

She was a member of the Randolph American Legion Unit 181 Ladies Auxiliary, Randolph Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 6533 and a member of the former Randolph Loyal order of the moose lodge. She enjoyed gardening, spending time with her family and she adored her nieces and nephews.

Linda is survived by her father, Herbert E. Ahlers of Deland, FL., four sisters; Cindy (Dave) Covedill of Randolph, NY, Mona Dietrick of Deland, Beth Ahlers-Fuller of Lackawanna, NY and Debra (Greg) Myers of Lockport, NY, two stepchildren; Zachariah (Jonelle) Bagley of Shiloh, IL and Stacey (Scott) Lux of Randolph, 4 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother Ardis on September 29, 2021 and husband John “Bags” Bagley on January 6, 2023.

As per her wishes, visitation or services will not be observed. Burial/Inurnment will be in the South Napoli Cemetery.

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the VanRensselaer & Son Funeral Home, 4 Church Street, Randolph, NY.
