Joann M. Morrison

She was born Aug. 6, 1954 in Jamestown, a daughter of the late Mary C. Werneth Herzing.

Joann was a 1973 graduate of Frewsburg Central School.

She had worked in home health care for many years before being employed at the former Fenton Park as an aide. She then was employed at Bush Industries until her retirement and was currently working at Heritage Park as a unit attendant.

Joann loved spending time with her family and grandchildren and was an avid fan of NASCAR and the Buffalo Bills.

She is survived by her three children Michael Bentley of Jamestown, Lori (Brandon) Miller of Frewsburg, and Alice (Matt Cole) Blair of Sinclairville; nine grandchildren Brittany Miller, Brent (Bry) Miller, Kenneth Miller II, Dana (Skyler) Blair, Jesse Jenkins, Jacob Blair, Samantha (Taige) Gaeta, Anthony Jenkins, Natalia Rusinowski; six great-grandchildren; a son-in-law Scott Blair; and two sisters-in-law Rose (Tim) Nelson, Robin (Mark) Miles; and a brother-in-law Ray (Lisa) Bentley, Jr.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband Joseph C. Morrison Sr. and her former husband and father of her children Russell Bentley.

Friends will be received from 4-6 pm on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 in the Peterson Funeral Home, Frewsburg immediately followed by a funeral service beginning at 6pm in the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
