Jesus was a former employee of Crawford’s Furniture for over 50 years. Chu loved spending time with his family and friends. He was also a devoted member of the Jehovah’s Witness congregation of Dunkirk, NY.
Chu was a gifted musician and could play any song he heard on his cuatro. He and his brothers enjoyed playing together. In his younger years, Chu was a member of the Puerto Rican Social Club and played for their slo-pitch softball team with his brothers and friends. He enjoyed watching Family Feud and Wheel of Fortune with his son Billy. Chu also looked forward to his trip back to his hometown every February.
Jesus was preceded in death by brothers Allejo, Cornelio, Baulidio and Felix, and a brother-in- law, Jose Correa; a sister, Antonia; his parents, Felix and Virginia; as well as his two children, Louie and Enoelia.
Chu is survived by brothers Domingo (Maria) and Pedro of Puerto Rico, Aristere (Lorraine) of Tennessee, Robert (Haydee) of Jamestown; sister Angela of Texas; and sister-in-law Adelaida of South Carolina.
