Noretta Mae (Hadley) Reynolds
Conewango Valley, NY – Noretta Mae (Hadley) Reynolds, 85, of 5529 Swamp Road, Conewango Valley passed away peacefully Monday, March 4, 2024 at UPMC Chautauqua Hospital.
She was born December 31, 1938 in Gowanda, the daughter of Henry M. and Thelma M. (Van Wormer) Hadley.
Noretta was a graduate of Pine Valley Central High School. She was a devoted wife and mother, who took pleasure in caring for her family. She enjoyed spending time with God, family, and friends. Her hobbies included sewing, baking, and crafting. She was an active member and pianist of the Baptist Church of Ellington, faithfully following the Lord Jesus Christ.
She is survived by her loving husband, Roger A. Reynolds, whom she married on September 1, 1956 in Aiken, SC, a daughter, Tracy (Douglas) Nobles of Waterloo, NY, four sons: Craig (Rhonnda) Reynolds of East Bethany, NY, Jeffrey (Diane) Reynolds of Conewango Valley, NY, Michael (Amy) Reynolds of Fredonia, NY, and Jason (Geraldine) Reynolds of Colorado Springs, Co. Together they had 22 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson (1,260 Fingers and Toes), as well as two siblings, Charlotte Hadley Rogalski and Ralph Hadley, both of Lakeland, FL.
She was preceded in death by a son, Scott Allen Reynolds on June 29, 2023, and a brother, Henry Hadley, June 22, 2021.
The family will receive relatives and friends at 10:00 AM Friday (March 8, 2024) and all day thereafter at the family home, 5529 Swamp Road, Conewango Valley, NY 14726. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday at the Baptist Church of Ellington, 530 Route 62, Ellington, NY. The family and The Rev. Donald Moore will officiate. Burial will be in the Cherry Creek Central Cemetery.
