Jackie A. Darling

She was born on January 22, 1938 in Sewickley, PA, a daughter of the late Edwin and Ann Vesolich Zdancevich.

She was a graduate of Bradford High School.

Prior to retirement, she was employed at MRC/SKF for many years. In earlier years, she had worked at the Bradford Bank.

She was an auxiliary member of American Legion Samuel Derby Post 556, the Carroll Rod and Gun Club and the Moose.

Jackie loved spending time with her family, especially her grandbabies. She enjoyed golfing, going out for meals and having fun with her dear friends, including Cindy, Jamie, Donna and so many others. Shopping and a mystery book were also favorite ways to spend her days. She stayed so active throughout her life. Always on the go!

She is survived by her children: Laura Josephson of Jamestown, Linda Ball of Bend, OR, Jon (Lisa) Burch of Aiken, SC, Steven (Debbie) Darling of Jamestown, Jeff (Peggy) Darling of Nome, AK, Daniel Darling of Fort Pierce, FL; thirteen grandchildren: Timothy (Christina) Josephson, Kelly (Derek) Christensen, Alex (James) Galbato, Jason (Megan) Burch, Kari Burch, Mckenzie (Steven) Thomas, Bobbie (Chris) Simon-Burch, Andrew (Caroline) Withington, Daniel (Charlotte) Withington, Leeann Ball, Katie Burch, Michael Darling, Tara (Frank) Jagoda; eighteen great-grandchildren: Rylan, Owen, Grace, Audrey, Ellyn, Theodore, Crew, Mariana, Cove, Arianna, Jaxsyn, Riven, Rosalie, Lucas (Cora), Lauren, Bryce, Brianna, Luna; one great-great grandchild Harper. She was so proud to be a great-great grandma. Also surviving are her dear sister Emma (Ronald) Burch; and two nieces Rhonda (Jim) Merenick and DeAn (Mark) Durnell.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Gary A. Darling, who passed away on August 2, 2022; and her fun and loving son, David Burch who passed on May 20, 2019.

Friends will be received from 1-3 pm on Saturday, March 16, 2024 in the Peterson Funeral Home, Frewsburg. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.

Inurnment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Frewsburg.
