Emily May Kennelley
Emily May Kennelley, 90, of Pennsylvania
Ave., Jamestown, N.Y., passed away on
Saturday, March 23, 2024 at her residence
surrounded by her loving family.
Emily was born on June 2, 1933, the
daughter of the late George W. and Emily L.
Lyon Parsons.
Emily worked at Proto Tool, American
Voting Machine and MRC. She worked at
MRC (SKF) for over 40 years. She held
various positions, assembly, machinist and
quality control.
Emily was an auxiliary member of Celoron
American Legion Post #777 Herman Kent (50
years), War Vets (lifetime member) and
Lakewood Rod and Gun Club for many years.
Emily was an avid bowler, she bowled on
teams with her daughters throughout the years.
She enjoyed watching bowling on TV. She
enjoyed playing softball in her younger years.
Her main priority was raising and caring for
her family. She loved spending time with her
family and friends, especially her
grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Emily
loved dogs and her grand dogs. She was a
social butterfly and loved socializing.
In addition to her parents, Emily is preceded
in death by her husband, William K.
Kennelley, whom she married on April 20,
1958 and who died on June 29, 1978; her
son: Gary W. Kennelley and her grandson:
Todd Kennelley.
Emily is survived by her children: Brian K.
Kennelley, Gordon J. Kennelley, Diane (Rod)
Bottomley, Mark K. (Judy) Kennelley and
Polly Ann Kennelley; her brother: Ralph
Parsons; her daughter in-law Delora “Dee”
Kennelley; 13 grandchildren and many great-
grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
