Roxanne M. Bigelow
Roxanne M. Bigelow, 64, of Gerry, NY passed away unexpectedly Friday, (February 2, 2024), in UPMC Hamot Erie, PA. She was born April 3, 1959 in Dansville, NY and was the daughter of the late Rollin and Mary Ann (Minnier) Boyd Sr. Anne (to her friends), Grammy (to her family) graduated from Fillmore Central School, in Fillmore, NY. She obtained her Nursing degree from Jamestown Community College and finished her bachelor’s degree at Hawthorne University. She had worked in many local facilities and later became a travel nurse throughout the Northeastern United States. Currently, she was working as a psychiatric Nurse at Warren State Hospital.
Anne was a very active person with many hobbies. Just a few of her hobbies included motorcycle rides with Pop, cooking, baking, and crafting (quilting, knitting, crocheting), but her absolute favorite, was spending time with her family. She was a source of strength for those who needed it and a wonderful friend always there when you needed her. She will be missed and remembered by all who knew her. She leaves us all with many good memories that we can enjoy.
Anne is survived by her Husband, James Bigelow; her children Kelly (Allan) Hawkins, Jeremy Davis and Bryan (Alice) Bigelow. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren Hanna and Matthew Bigelow and Kole, Brody and Sydney Hawkins; as well as her siblings Rollin (Sue) Boyd Jr., Matt (Jana) Boyd and Marcia Boyd Michaels. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The viewing will be held at Falconer Funeral Home on Thursday, February 8th from 3-6 pm.
