Deanna Jean Johnson

Deanna was born on May 31, 1947, in Jamestown, N.Y., the daughter of the late Joseph and Alyce Myers Adsit.

Deanna graduated from Jamestown High School in 1966. She worked at Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Jamestown General Hospital in the medical records department and was a caregiver at The Resource Center in Jamestown.

Deanna was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church (Realife Church) and Jamestown Moose Lodge 1681. She crocheted baby blankets for the hospital for newborns with a small group of ladies and enjoyed going to the Celoron American Legion Post 777 Herman Kent to listen to music with friends. She loved Lucille Ball and collected memorabilia throughout the years. Deanna enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was a social butterfly and enjoyed meeting new people wherever she went.

In addition to her parents, Deanna is preceded in death by her sister, Donna Lillie.

Deanna’s survived by her son: Mark (Debbie) Johnson of Jamestown, N.Y., and her grandson: Hunter Johnson of Jamestown, N.Y. and many nieces and nephews.
