Barbara L. Ravellette

She was born in Buffalo on March 23, 1954, a daughter of the late Roy A. and Ruth Steffens Stewart.

Always dedicated to helping others, Barbara had been a teacher at Job Corps teaching math for people’s GED, taught elementary school in Indiana and Frewsburg, and been a Mental Health Associate for SMART Recovery. For the last ten years, she was a case manager for The Resource Center.

Surviving is a daughter, Jacquelyn (James) Hayes of Jamestown; two adopted daughters, Jessica Davis of New York City and Willow Taft of Jamestown; four grandchildren, Jaimon Ravellette, and Jayden, Julian and Jasmyne Hayes; and two brothers, Wayne (Bev) Stewart of Florida and Dave (Barb) Stewart of Buffalo.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 16th in the Lind Funeral Home, led by Rev. Mario Angeli.
