Richard A. Shaver Jr.

Richard was born on Aug. 10, 1957 in Jamestown, the son of Richard A. Shaver Sr. and the late Grace Lyon.

He attended Falconer high school and later worked at Jamestown Container. Richard also served in the Air Force.

Richard enjoyed playing softball, auto racing, wrestling, camping, and the Buffalo Bills. He loved spending time with his family and his grandkids and loved listening to music, especially Aerosmith.

Surviving are his father Richard A. Shaver, Sr.; a son, Richard (Heather) Shaver of Falconer; three daughters, Angel Davis of Frewsburg, Nicole Shaver of Jamestown, Jennie Waite of Jamestown; two sisters Ann Kennedy of Jamestown, Cherrie Clark of Bemus Point; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother Grace Lyon; and his ex-wife Debra Shaffer.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 18, 2023 at 11 a.m. in the Falconer Funeral Home. Rev. Larry Petry will officiate.
