Betty Irene Bissell

She was the widow of Gerald Bissell who died October 17, 1987.

Betty was born in Corry, Pa. on June 8, 1929, and was the daughter of the late Alton and Lena King.

She had been the property manager of the former Betty’s Cottages in Lakewood for many years.

Surviving is her son-in-law, Rex Rater of Jamestown; four grandchildren: Jerry McMaster of Jamestown, Tyler McMaster of North East, Pa., Fred Rater of Arizona, and Karen (Gary) Gross of Ripley; as well as (9) great grandchildren and (5) great great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents, Betty was preceded in death in January of 2022 by her daughter, Sandra L. Rater.

Following her wishes, no funeral service or visitation will be observed.

Inurnment will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
