Sylvia A. Stowell, 88, formerly of the Methodist Gardens, Falconer and Bemus Point passed away Monday (August 14, 2023) in the Lutheran Home.
She was born October 11, 1934 in Buffalo, NY, and was the foster daughter of the late Henry and Mabel Ellis.
Sylvia was a graduate of Jamestown High School and prior to retirement was employed by Westfield Health Care Center retiring in 1996.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren, great grandchildren, bingo, puzzles, and crocheting.
Surviving is her children Karl (Donna) Germain of Bemus Point, Kathryn (Danny) Fox of Falconer; four grandchildren: Brian Fox of Falconer, Ashley (Ryan) Kaczar of Bemus Point, Austin (Kelly) Germain of Tampa, FL and Aaron (Haley) Germain; six great grandchildren: Ayla, Cash, Veda, Ryla and Kora Kaczar and “Baby Boy” Germain in January 2024.
She was preceded in death by a sister Shirley V. Eppard on May 29, 2010.
A graveside memorial service will be held in the spring of 2024 in Evergreen Cemetery, Sinclairville.
