Cynthia A. “Cindy” Sheldon
Cynthia A. “Cindy” Sheldon, 76, of Wheeler Hill Rd, Frewsburg, passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2023 in UPMC Chautauqua.
She was born May 2, 1947 in Jamestown, a daughter of the late Henry and Alice Noyd Greenwood.
She attended Jamestown High School.
Cindy enjoyed gardening, jigsaw puzzles, camping, crocheting, and was an avid fan of NASCAR and the NHRA.
She is survived by her son, William “Bill” (Jen) Sheldon; her daughter Donna (Andrew) Westfall; her daughter-in-law Libby Sheldon; seven grandchildren: Mikayla Woodward, Kyle Sheldon, Levi (Cassandra) Sheldon, Kalsey Sheldon, Alex Sheldon, Hailey Westfall, Tyler Westfall; four great-grandchildren: Tobias Woodward, Olivia Kelly, Everleigh Woodward, and Ryker Woodward.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Allyn D. Sheldon, Jr. in 2004, a son Thomas “Tom” Sheldon in 2018, and a brother Gary Greenwood in 2021.
Friends will be received from 1-3 pm on Sunday, July 9, 2023 in the Peterson Funeral Home, Frewsburg.
Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Frewsburg.
