David Michael Cusimano

We are heartbroken to announce the death of our father, David Michael Cusimano. He passed away peacefully at the age of 80, surrounded by friends and family on May 4, 2023. David was born in Jamestown, New York, on Aug. 24, 1942 the son of Louis and Grace (Calabrese) Cusimano. He graduated from Jamestown High School in 1960,He married Montez Billquist and in 1972 moved his family to the west coast. Dave always had a smile on his face and a quick wit.

He called Santa Cruz, California his home for decades. Dave enjoyed an obsession with salmon fishing and a love for the outdoors. He spent the last few years of his life in Sisters, Oregon, enjoying a quiet living. Sitting beside his beloved grandson Garrett, David leaves behind his brothers John Cusimano of SanJose CA and Richard, (Katrina) Cusimano of Lakewood NY a son Chris ( Janet), whom he made his home with. Two daughters Cathy Of CA and Carrie, of Arizona three grandchildren Jaclyn, Madison, and Chloe, and one great granddaughter Katie, many cousins nephews and nieces Dave will be missed, celebrated and will always hold a special place in our hearts.
