Kim Marie Michelson

We as Kim’s family wish to have her remembered not by the struggles she faced,but rather for the loving, kind. compassionate caring person that we watched bravely fight to free herself. Kim was a kind, caring, vivacious person, with an unforgettable laugh and aways smiling. She was known for her personal writings which she thoroughly enjoyed. Her life was her children and her beautiful grandchildren of which she completely adored.

Kim is survived by her parents, Steve and Carol Michelson; sons Daniel (Jaleesa) Holland, Ricky, Joshua, Kelvin and a daughter Taylor; two grandsons DeAndre, Dezmin, and granddaughter Devina; sisters Michelle (Lyle) DeBose, Alyssa Michelson; three brothers Michael and Bobby Yarbrough, Steven Michelson Jr. and many cousins, nephews and nieces whom she loved dearly.

Kim was proceeded in death by a son James (Salt) Michelson, her paternal grandfather Eugene Michelson, and Uncle Jeffery Michelson, her paternal grandparents Paul and Patricia Caylor, her maternal grandmother Marie Dobson Babyak.

The family will be receiving guests on Thursday May 11, 2023 from 3 to 4:30 PM, with funeral service to be held at 4:30 PM, at New Creation Assembly of God Church, 116 South Main Street, Jamestown.
