Keith R. Foster Sr.

Keith was born February 14, 1930 in Wellsville, NY, the son of the late Glenn and Margaret Knox Foster.

He was a 1948 graduate of Wellsville High School and attended Cornell University. Keith was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Army from 1951 to 1953. In earlier years Keith was employed by Ellison Bronze. Prior to retirement in 1993 he was employed by MRC-SKF for 37 years. He also owned and operated K & B Gardens for 17 years.

Keith was a member of the Falconer United Methodist Church, Randolph American Legion Post 181 and Allegany County Historical Society. Keith enjoyed spending time with his family, genealogy, researching family history, flowers, and gardening.

Surviving is his wife Barbara Ann Rahr Foster whom he married January 5, 1952 in Wellsville, NY; two sons: Keith R. (Judy) Foster Jr. of Kennedy, David Foster of Jamestown; two daughters: Laura Boehm of Falconer, Rebecca (Ron) Eberle of Haslet, TX; six grandchildren: Adrienne (Derek) Halpern, Thomas (Barbra) Foster, Carrie Snyder, Michelle (Rob) Conroy, Keith Bubar, Kara Eberle; six great grandchildren: Marissa Snyder, Henry and Jack Conroy, Harper Halpern, Morrison and August Foster and a brother Charles (Matilda) Foster of Nicholasville, KY.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Glenn Foster Jr, and a daughter-in-law Kim Foster.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Falconer Funeral Home. Rev. Michael Childs will officiate. Inurnment will be in Allen Cemetery.

Friends will be received by the family from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
