James R. Belin

He was born February 13, 1937 in Smoke Run, PA, the son of the late George and Ruby Richardson Belin.

Jim was employed by MRC-SKF for 43 years retiring in 1998.

He was a member of Our Lady of Loreto Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, Jamestown Moose Club, Lakewood Rod & Gun Club, and a social member of the Ira Lou American Legion. Jim enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golfing.

Surviving is his two sons: James J. Belin of Bemus Point, Edward A. (Judy) Belin of Wellsville, NY; two step grandchildren: Benjamin (Yang Lu) Green of Switzerland, Daniel Green of Oregon; two step great grandchildren: Noah Green, Claire Green; two brothers: George Belin of Warren, PA, John Belin of Philipsburg, PA and a sister Carol Twigg of Smoke Run, PA and his extended family Cheryl Hill, Tommy Hill and the Hill family.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Emma M. Franko Belin whom he married June 23, 1958, who died April 22, 2015.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 10 a.m. in the Falconer Funeral Home. Rev. Don Watkins pastor of Our Lady of Loreto Catholic Church will be celebrant. Inurnment will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Ramey, PA.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, May 5, 2023 and one hour prior to the memorial service Saturday in the funeral home.
