Glenn M. Ford

Glenn M. Ford

Glenn Michael Ford 63, formerly of Hartson Road Falconer, NY, passed peacefully holding the hands of his wife Linda and daughter Candra, and “son” in law Stephen. A special thank you to his “sister” in law Gail Smith for the loving care of Glenn in these last few months.

Many knew Glenn as “The Sandman” as he was self-employed as The Sandman Sandblasting and Painting, from 1997-2020, “Call me, I’m a blast”. To know Glenn was to be blessed with his laughter, sense of humor, and piercing blue eyes.

Glenn is survived by his wife Linda of 40 years, his daughter Candra and “son”-in-law Stephen Roach, along with grandchildren Mya Jean and Nolin Michael Roach.

Glenn is preceded by son Carl who passed April 30, 2014, who gifted him with four grandchildren, Morgan and Paige Pangborn and Caden and Carson Ford all of Placerville, CA.

He is also preceded by his father LeRoy and mother Gladys Robinson Ford, sister Nancy Pevarnik, and niece Tammy Ford.

Glenn is survived by brothers Thomas Ford, Jeffery Ford (Mary Jo), both of Jamestown, NY, a sister Joan Miller of Springhill, Fl., along with many loving in-laws and nieces and nephews.

No visitation service will be held, please celebrate the memory of Glenn surrounded by friends and family, while listening to the song “Spirit in the Sky,” as he joked that he wanted this played.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Castleman’s Disease Collaborative Network (with which he struggled), in hopes of finding a cure, www.cdcn.org.
