Joan R. Gaiser Peacock

She was born January 22, 1928, in Buffalo, NY, the daughter of the late Carl A. and Delma L. Dietsche Gaiser.

Joan had worked as a Beautician for over 60 years, mostly out of her home in Stow. She was a member of the Lakeside Bible Chapel in Bemus Point and the North Harmony Senior Citizens.

She enjoyed quilting and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great- grandchildren.

Joan is survived by two sons; Howard (Barb) Peacock Sr. of Stow, NY, and Guy R. (Cindy) Peacock of Stow, NY, one daughter; Jill (Mark) Andriaccio of Sherman, NY, eight grandchildren; Howard Peacock Jr and Kallie Peacock of Stow, NY, Jessica Montgomery of Bluffton, IN, Connie (Matt) Scarpine of Stow, NY, Nikole (Chad) Cole of Mayville, NY, Luke (Grace) Andriaccio of Bemus Point, NY, Angel (Sarah Novotny) Andriaccio of Buffalo, NY, and Elissa Peacock of Stow, NY, and six great-grandchildren; Dylan, Jada, Lane, Alice, Lukus, and Robbie. The family would also like to acknowledge and thank her two caretakers: Joanne Andriaccio and Wanda Miller.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband; Howard A. Peacock, whom she married on March 7, 1953, in Buffalo, NY, a son; Dane Peacock, a grandson; Robbie Peacock, and two brothers; Russel Gaiser and Karl Gaiser.

At Joan’s request, there will be no public services observed. A private celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.
