Roe-Anne M. Faulkner

Roe-Anne was born on July 17, 1946 in Jamestown, N.Y., the daughter of the late Harold C. and Inas M. Harrington Faulkner.

Roe-Anne graduated from Panama High School in 1964 and University of Buffalo. She was a history teacher at Gates Chili High School, Rochester, N.Y. and Clymer Central School.

“Roe-Anne was an avid sports fan.” She loved baseball and football, especially the Buffalo Bills. She followed Lawrence Peter “Yogi” Berra through his baseball career. Roe-Anne enjoyed cats, animals and collecting John Wayne Memorabilia.

Roe-Anne is survived by her brother: Duane (Marcia) Faulkner of Greenville, S.C; her nephew: Michael Faulkner of Baltimore, MD; her niece: Susan (Shawn) Evans and their daughters: Sophia and Alexandra Evans all of Greenville, S.C.; close friends: Phil (Shelly) Johnson of Ashville, N.Y. and their daughters: Kelsey (Jay) Anderson of Alba, PA and Nicole Johnson (Benjamin Peterson) of Ashville, N.Y.

Friends and family may call at Powers, Present & Sixbey Funeral Home, Inc., on Monday, Feb. 20 from 12 PM- 1PM. A funeral service will be held at 1PM. Pastor Warren VanDewark will officiate. Burial will be in Grant Cemetery, Niobe, N.Y.
