June Erma Mott
June Erma Mott, age 87, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2022 in the Trustbridge Hospice Unit at Jupiter Medical Center, Jupiter, FL. June, born September 11, 1935 in Syracuse, N.Y., was the daughter of Narola (Bennett) Lee and Wilbur J. Lee. She graduated from Johnson City High School and attended the Crane School of Music at Potsdam State Teachers College where she majored in piano. After meeting on a blind date, she married Theodore Mott on May 25, 1957. June was an accomplished pianist who could play anything in any key and she shared her gift by serving as a church pianist/organist for more than six decades. She was also a lifelong National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution member and was the Organizing Regent of the Williams Mills Chapter in Williamsville, N.Y. June was a beloved and praying wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who enjoyed time spent with family and friends, entertaining, and traveling with Ted. June is survived by her children Carolyn (Mott) and Mark Dimas, Maretta Mott, Margaret (Mott) and Dr. James Forgan; Grandchildren LCDR Aaron Dimas, Katherine (Dimas) and Dr. Robert North, Kelsey Dimas, Emily Forgan, BM3 Theodore Forgan; and great-Grandchildren Owen and Abigail North. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-five years, both of whom are now undoubtedly singing praises to the Lord together. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, January 23rd in the Prayer Room of Christ Fellowship Church, 5343 Northlake Blvd., Palm Beach Gardens, FL and will be followed at 2:30 PM by a committal service at the South Florida National Cemetery where, as it should be, she’ll be at Ted’s side once again.
