Annette M. Faust

Annette M. Faust of Monroe, N.C. passed away on Nov. 6, 2022 at the home of her eldest daughter. She was born Aug. 7, 1931 in North East Pa. She is the daughter of the late Clarence “Bill” Mitchell and Marion (Murger) Mitchell. She was also preceded in death by her husband Carl E. Faust, two brothers: Richard Clarence Mitchell and Charles “Butch” Mitchell, one sister Betty Gardler, and three grandsons: Daryl Todd Chase, Joseph Anthony Carl Scardamaglia, and Frank Eugene Knapp.

Annette attended the Waterford School System. She loved horses and learned a few tricks on horseback as a young girl. Annette and husband Carl loved to snowmobile while on their farm in Sugar Grove, Pa., making many friends along the trails. She was a devoted, stay at home wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her family, and she loved to cook and bake and have family gettogethers. She so loved the holidays, decorating, baking and all the festivities, anything that included family and friends. Family always came first to her. She was an avid gardener with quite the green thumb. Her neighbors and people would stop and admire and comment on her lovely flower gardens.

Annette was a beautiful person inside and out, and able to make friends easily. She is leaving a huge hole in our hearts and all who knew her. She was always crocheting, knitting, crafting, and doing word search puzzles and making gifts for her family.

Annette will be lovingly missed by her brother Paul “Stub” Mitchell of Waterford, PA, three daughters: Christine Scardamaglia of Monroe, NC with whom Annette made her home for the last few months, Carol Schneider of Erie, Pa., and Sherry (Dennis) Chase of Monroe, NC, grandchildren Courtney Tremblay of Youngsville, Pa., Sonja Kamuche of Waxhaw, N.C., and great-grandchildren Sarah, Rhonna and David Tremblay IV, Alexandro and Gabriel Kamiche, Bradley Knapp of Waxhaw, N.C., and Riley Knapp of Youngsville, Pa. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
