Wendy Lou Mahoney

She was born on Feb. 12, 1960 in Warren, Pa., to Merritt and Lois Babcock.

Wendy attended Jamestown High School and lived in Jamestown most of her life.

Wendy is survived by her mother, Lois Yoxtheimer; her three siblings: Sue Babcock, David (Debbie) Babcock and Gracie White; her six daughters: Wendy Samples, Trumansburg, N.Y., Abbey Eckwahl Jamestown, N.Y., Sybil (Kenny) Melton, Chesapeake, Va., Robin (Jasper) Bryson, Phoenix, Ariz., Janet (Jamie) Thomas (North Carolina), and Pauline Mahoney, Jamestown, N.Y; her 11 grandchildren: Sena, Allie, Jack, Carter, Audrey, Jonathan, Kami, Sean, Jamie Jr., Kelsie, and Mackenzie; and her two great-grandchildren: Leeyah and Zaiden; as well as her many nieces and nephews.

Per Wendy’s wishes, there will be no funeral services. However, her family and friends will be hosting a celebration of life to be announced at a later date.
