David B. Milk

Born April 23, 1947, in Gerry, a son of the late Alvan and Ina Slocum Milk.

He was a 1965 graduate of Cassadaga Valley Central School

David was employed with Chautauqua County for 30 years, retiring in 2009 as a senior mechanic at the Ellery Landfill. He had previously been employed by Zahm and Matson and Fredonia Express.

He was a member of the Southern Tier Classic Chevy Club, Ellington Rod and Gun and the former Gerry Free Methodist Church.

David had a passion for classic cars, building street rods and engines and model and full size trains of any type. He also enjoyed time with friends and family.

Husband of Patricia A. Hall Milk, whom he married July 19, 1969; father of Debbie (Bill) Green of Ellington, and the late Lisa R. Milk; grandfather of Ashley (Brandon) Siliano of Ashville, Jeffrey (Brittany) of Cherry Creek, and Billy Green of Ellington; great-grandfather of three; brother of Robert (Deena) Milk of Lake Wales, Fla., and the late Esther Howard. Also survived by nieces and nephews.

Funeral service 11 a.m. Thursday in Jordan Funeral Home, Sinclairville with visitation beginning at 10 a.m.
