Annette D. Johnson

An area resident all her life, she was born May 4, 1950, in Jamestown, a daughter of the late Allyn and Eleanor Luce Sheldon.

She will be remembered for her love of her grandchildren and caring for her family.

Surviving are three children: Sherri (Ron) Anderson Platt of Celoron, John (Amy) Johnson Jr., of Falconer and David (Malica) Johnson of Jamestown; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Sue (Jeff) Mathews of Frewsburg.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Johnson Sr, whom she married Nov. 30, 1968, and who died Dec. 15, 2021; a grandson, Leland Anderson; a brother, Don Sheldon; and nephew, Tom Sheldon.

Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. Friday in the Lind Funeral Home.

A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.

Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
