Joseph M. Muscarella

Joseph M. Muscarella, 71, of Fredonia, passed away on Nov. 11, 2021, after a long and courageous battle.

He was born on March 18, 1950, to the late Louis Muscarella and Virginia White.

After graduating from Dunkirk High School and Monroe Community College, Joseph proudly worked for the railroad, Jamestown Metal, as well as the New York State Thruway. A man with many passions, Joe loved the New York Yankees and Buffalo Bills. He took pride in raising his plants, especially his fig trees and tomatoes. Joe loved animals taking care of the birds and helping care for all of his children’s dogs. He loved being outside spending time at the beach and in the woods. Not a night went by where Joseph could not be found sitting at the dinner table on Swan Street with his mother. Most of all he loved his children and spending time with his grandchildren, attending every sporting event possible over the past 30 years.

Joseph is survived by his wife, Judy Muscarella, loving companion, Rose Freeman; children: Mario (Michelle) Muscarella and Carmen (Jason) Sebzda; and his five grandchildren: Rocco, Giavanna, Natalia, Bruno and Gemma.
