Dorcel A.E. Thompson, 66, of South Main Street, Jamestown, N..Y., passed away Friday, Sept. 3 2021, in Ft. Walton Beach, Fla., after long fight with various health conditions.
Dorcel is the daughter of the late John E. R. Thompson and Jimmea Lee (Howie) Thompson. Dor-cel was born on Sept. 12, 1954, in Jamestown N.Y. A lifetime resident, she at-tended public schools in Jamestown.
Dorcel was a kind, funny and down to earth individual and enjoyed going to bingo with her various friends. She loved her family and would do anything for you. She had an infec-tive laughed and crazy personality, which everyone loved.
She is survived by her children: Shawnett Thomp-son (Walter), Sven (TC) Thompson (Melissa), and Johnee; grandchildren: Louis Rhone , Izena Rhone, Sven (Tre) Thompson, Tavionna Smith and Jahad Green; and her brother, John ”Pee-Wee” Thompson; and various nieces and nephews.
In addition to her mother and father, Dorcel was pre-ceded in death by her brothers: Corey, Jeffrey, Myles (P.E), Barton (Bart), and Howie (Buster).
There will not be a formal memorial service at this time, but there will be a celebration of her life for family and friends to be announced at a later date.
