Evelyn J. Moyer
With heavy hearts we announce the death of Evelyn J. Moyer. She passed away on May 16, 2021 at Heritage Green Rehab and Skilled Nursing.
She was born Nov. 15, 1930, the daughter of the late Anthony and Sophia Jaroszynski.
Evelyn is survived by her sister, MaryAnn (Roger) Whitford; her brother, Frank (Pat) Lewandowski; her sister-in-law: Iana (Dick) Jaroszynski, her son, Rick (Sharon) Fenton; her daughter, SueAnn (James) Schoening, her grandsons: Todd Fenton, Brett (Kim) Marsh, Scott (Lauren) Fenton and Sean Fenton; six great-grandchildren and numerous extended family. She will be dearly missed by her loyal niece, Julie (Scot) Eggleston and their sons: Anthony and Andrew. She will also be missed by her honorary grand-daughter:, Julie Youngberg and her family: Joe, Ashleah and Jacob.
Evelyn enjoyed cooking, baking, old time country music and shopping. She could knit or crochet almost anything. She was an avid reader and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles in pen. For many years she would go to bingo with her sister, Jann. In earlier years, she enjoyed the times with her family playing cards, mostly pinochle.
Evelyn was a charter member of the Falconer Moose Lodge 134. She ran the kitchen for a few years. She had earned the honor of College Regents.
In addition to her parents, Evelyn is preceded in death by her siblings whom she spoke of often and missed them dearly: John (Josie) Jaroszynski, Katherine (Frank) Donato, Art (Liz) Jaroszynski, Jann (Pete) Swanson and Dick Jaroszynski. Also her ex-husband, Ivan Fentonl her second husband, Robert Moyer; her companion of 10 good happy years, Charlie Youngberg; and their dog, Minnie.
At Evelyn’s request there will be no services.
