Harry W. Walters

He was born March 4, 1934, in Randolph, the son of the late Harold H. and Emma J. (Meacham) Walters.

Harry was a 1952 gradu-ate of Randolph Central School and had owned and operated the Sample Hill Dairy Farm in Randolph. He additionally worked for his brother, Howard at the Randolph Auto Parts Store in Randolph.

Harry was a member of the Western New York Fox Hunters Association and the National Brown Swiss Association, as well as the NRA. He loved his family dearly and in his spare time, enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth A. (Kohler) Walters; four children: Tammy Aiken and husband, Jerryl of Kennedy, Gregory Walters and wife, Shelly of Harmony, N.C., Robert Walters of Lafayette, N.Y., and Casey Walters and wife. Dianna of Randolph; four siblings: Loretta (Larry) Overturf and Barbara (Tim) Parker, all of Ellington, Marian (Kip) Kovel of Kennedy and Howard (Veronica) Walters of Randolph.

He is additionally survived by 13 grandchildren, Justin (Mary) Aiken, Darin Aiken, Reanna (Josh) Lanphere, Nolan (Liz) Aiken, Emily (Shane) Wall, Tyler (Tawny) Walters, Zechari-ah Walters, Ethan Walters, Kaytlynn Walters, Nicholas (Tracey) Walters, Ellie Walters, Autumn Walters and Joshua Walters; as well as 16 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Wesley C. Walters on July 17, 1997; and siblings: Harold H. Walters, Alethea Visker and Stanley Walters. The family will receive relatives and friends from 4-7 p.m., Wednesday (Oct. 28, 2020) from the VanRensselaer & Son Funeral Home, 14 Church St., Ran-dolph. Funeral services are private. Harrys oldest son Gregory will officiate. Burial and committal services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday at the Sample Hill Cemetery in Randolph.
