Karen L. Neal

WESTFIELD – Karen L. (Johnson) Neal, age 55, of East Main Road, Westfield, formerly of Jamestown, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2019, at home following a brief illness.

Karen was born on Sept. 14, 1963, in Jamestown, the daughter of William Johnson and Rose (Capron) Everhart

Karen graduated from Jamestown High School and completed her Associate Degree in Business. She was a Store Manager for Ried Petroleum, at the Hartfield Crosby’s Store. She had worked at that location with the Arrowmart and Lake County Dairy Stores prior to it becoming a Crosby’s. Karen understood the meaning of hard work and made time to enjoyed traveling with her family and playing cards. Her main love was being a doting wife and a devoted mother. Her family was her joy.

Survivors include her husband of 21 years, Bruce L. Neal, whom she married June 13, 1998 and their son, Nicholas Charles Neal as well as her mother and step-father, Rose (Harold) Everhart of Busti, N.Y., and her father and step-mother, William (Loretta) Johnson of North Colorado. Karen is further survived by her brother, Kevin (Michelle) Johnson of Colorado; her two sisters, Kelly (Jay) Holmquist of NewYork, and Kay (Gary) Boyd of North Carolina; her half brother Bill (Missie) Johnson II of New York; her three stepbrothers, Brad Folts of New York, Greg (Mel) Folts of North Carolina, and Mark (Sonja) Folts of FloridaL; and two stepsisters, LeeAnn (Todd) Deviliger of North Carolina, and Dawn (Reid) VanEvery of New York. Survivors also include many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Friday, Aug. 9, 2019 at the Ross Mills Church of God, 3843 E Ross Mills Rd, Falconer, NY 14733 from 11 a.m. until the time of Services there at 1 p.m. with Pastor David Olson officiating.
