Tom Krasinski

Tom was born July 29, 1931, in Depew, N.Y. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years, Margaret, who died Dec. 4, 2004. Tom is survived by seven children: Mark Wade of San Antonio, Texas, Tomothy Dale of Jackson, MS, Steven Bruce of Tampa, Fla, Richard Martin of Jamestown, N.Y., Cynthia Lynn of Sebastian, Fla, Robert Jay of Dansville, N.Y., and Patrick Scott of Tampa, Fla. He is also survived by his sisters, Rose Robson of Williamsville, N.Y., and Annette Rowley of Buffalo. He is also survived by his caring and loving companion Pauline Valerie Salvas.

After serving in the Navy during the Korean War, Tom attended SUNY Buffalo earning a BS in Business Administration. Tom began his business career with Arthur Young & Company in Buffalo, N.Y., and was subsequently hired by a client, Hooker Chemical Company of Niagara Falls, N.Y. Tom later moved to Jamestown, N.Y., taking a position as Vice President and Treasurer of Hopes Windows. Tom later moved to on to Carborundum — Monofrax Division in Falconer, N.Y., as Controller and Production Manager. Tom later moved on to InterRoyal Deluxe of Warren, Pa., to take on the position of Vice President and CFO. Tom returned to the Jamestown area taking the position of Comptroller with Matco Tools Lakewood, N.Y., and then promoted to plant manager. After a brief retirement Tom took a position with the US Small Business Administration Office of Disaster Services for 20+ years.

Tom was active in community and professional organizations having co-founded and served as President of the Budget and Planning Executives in Buffalo, N.Y., and then later as the Vice-President of the Buffalo Chapter of the National Association of Accountants. Tom served as president of the of the Lancaster-Depew Jaycees and was designated Outstanding Jaycee of NY at the state convention. In Jamestown Tom served several terms as President of the National Association of Accountants. Tom was active in the Jamestown Lodge of Elks #263 serving two terms as exalted ruler. Tom also served as board member and Treasurer of the Jamestown Chapter of the Red Cross. Tom was active in the Knights of Columbus and served as a financial consultant for Sacred Heart Church in Lakewood, N.Y.
