It is with great sadness that the family of John Irving Warner Jr. announces his passing on Friday, Oct. 13, 2017, at the age of 52 years.

John will be lovingly remembered by his parents, John and Constance Warner; his children: John (Destiny) Matson-Warner, Jonah Warner, and Jace Warner; their mother, Denise Nichols; and his two grandchildren: Nataleigh and Delilah Warner. John will also be fondly remembered by his brother, Chad (Mary) Warner; his sister, Amy (Allen) Kase; his partner, Christina Castillo; and nieces and nephews Aaron and Ashton Kase, and Elizabeth, Chad Jr., and Abby Warner.

John is preceded in death by his grandparents Raymond and Jeannette Warner, and Chester and Thelma Shaw.

Born May 3, 1965 in Warren, Pa., John graduated from Frewsburg High School before joining the Air Force where he worked as a truck driver instructor at Malmstrom Air Force Base, Montana. After his service, John went on to work as a logger and the owner of a saw mill in Frewsburg, N.Y. He later utilized his passion for truck driving as the owner of JM Trucking Company in Toledo, Ohio, where he also worked as a skilled mechanic.

John was known by friends and family for his tremendous work ethic, humorous outlook, and for his love of animals. He enjoyed telling stories and jokes, phone calls with family, and visiting the beach near his home in Donna, Texas.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Peterson Funeral Home in Frewsburg.

The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to either the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or a local animal shelter.
