WESTFIELD- Judith D Winslow, 82 of Westfield, NY, went home to be with her lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 18, 2025. Judith was born and raised in Buffalo, NY on October 6, 1942, to the late James and Virginia (Towlson) Chadwick.
Judy graduated from Kensington High School in 1960. She married the love of her life Donald R Winslow Sr. on April 13th, 1962. Together they welcomed six children.
Judy was employed by Garrison’s Warehouse before beginning her career at Belknap Business Forms in 1982. Judith worked in pre-press as a plate maker before retiring in 2006. After raising her own children, Don and Judy fostered children for many years in their home.
Judy enjoyed gardening, reading, fishing with her husband and spending time with her family. She and Don loved to host their families at their country home with picnics, holidays, lots of food and Polish traditions. Judy will be missed by everyone who knew her.
Survivors include her six children, Geraldine Winslow, Donald Winslow Jr, Donna (Douglas) Sanderson, all of Westfield, NY, Brian (Lorrie) Winslow, of Gerry, NY, Roberta (Patrick) Gilmartin of Port Orange, FL and Timothy Winslow of Mayville, NY, thirteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren, her sister, Carol (Alan) Shepard, brothers, Richard (Melinda) Chadwick, and James (Mary Jean) Chadwick, along with many nieces and nephews, and their four-legged companion Baxter.
Judy was predeceased by her husband of 57 years on April 5th, 2020, a brother, David Chadwick, and her grandson Jason Ferguson.
The funeral will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at the Freay Funeral Home in Mayville (139 S Erie St). The Rev James Witherington will officiate. Burial will be in the Portland Evergreen Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Friends are welcome to call for two hours prior to the funeral, noon to 2 PM, also at the funeral home.
