Stacey’s Nail Studio has officially opened at 713 East Second Street.
East Second Street in the city of Jamestown is now home to another new business.
The CHQ Chamber hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony at Stacey’s Nail Studio, 713 E. Second St., Wednesday morning. Daniel Heitzenrater from the CHQ Chamber introduced the business before turning it over to business owner Stacey Beardsley to talk a little bit about the business.
Beardsley said the offerings at the nail studio include pedicures, manicures, acrylic dip and gel polishing. Beardsley has been in the nail business for over 20 years, but this is the first time she has branched out into her own business.
Stacey’s Nail Studio is open from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. with appointments made online or by calling the studio at 716-720-4008.
Beardsley was then given certificates and recognitions from multiple state, county and city officials, beginning with Missy Patternini who represented Assemblyman Andew Molitor’s office.

Patternini thanked Beardsley for opening another small business in Jamestown, noting that she had a different, personal connection to Beardsley that came from many years ago.
“I was looking up the salon online on Facebook before we came, and I noticed I knew you and as I came in and we talked, you took care of my mother,” Patternini said. “So, I really want to thank you for that, and I’m really, really proud of you for taking that step to start the new business to be that salon person in that underneath someone (role), you took the chance to take that outside (of that role) and I think that’s amazing, and exactly what Jamestown needs is people like you.”
Lisa Vanstrom from Senator George Borrello’s office was also in attendance, representing the senator. Vanstrom praised the overall design of Stacey’s Nail Studio, saying that she would personally be making an appointment in the future.
“This kind of service is in high demand in Jamestown, and I don’t think it’s a flooded market at all,” Vanstrom said. “I wish Stacey the best in her investment and thank you for putting yourself out there. There’s plenty of parking and it’s right on Second Street, on the East side of Jamestown.”
Congressman Nick Langworthy’s office was represented by Brian Abram. Abram said doing ribbon cuttings for new businesses was a “joy” and echoed what was said earlier about the city needing people like Beardsley to open new businesses like this.

“People like you are needed to provide the services necessary,” Abram said.
Abram also read a proclamation from Langworthy.
Heitzenrater then read a proclamation from Mayor Kim Ecklund, who was unable to attend the ceremony, and noted that County Executive PJ Wendel was meant to be in attendance, but was held up, but extended the congratulations from the county as well. Scott Miller with the Small Business Development Center also came to the ribbon cutting, extending his own congratulations and noting the inside design was impressive as well.
Heitzenrater wrapped up the ceremony with his own congratulations from the Chamber, followed by the official ribbon cutting.
“Like Brian said, this is one of the best parts of our job to get out and champion local businesses and celebrate,” Heitzenrater said. “As Scott pointed out, I definitely wanted to mention the cheetah print, which really just dresses it up. It’s such a cool environment. Great work, and we are excited to see what you do.”
