City Man Faces Drug Charges
A Jamestown man faces charges after a drug raid Monday on Newland Avenue.
Jaydaicus S. Black, 26, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, four counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, three counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, seventh-degree criminal possession of controlled substance and two counts of criminally using drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.
Members of the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force and Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office narcotics investigators executed a search warrant at 10:43 a.m. Monday at 613 Newland Avenue, lower apartment, and found Black inside the home. Detectives searched the apartment and allegedly found 76.4 grams of methamphetamine, 1.9 grams of fentanyl, 52 dosage units of fentanyl, 10.7 grams of crack cocaine, 3.5 grams of powder cocaine and 2.0 grams of MDMA. In a news release police said the investigation is ongoing and more charges are expected.
