Firefighters were called to douse a truck fire on Route 60 on Wednesday afternoon. First responders from Fluvanna were summoned around 3:30 p.m. to the truck fire. The vehicle was fully engulfed by flames when crews arrived. State Police also responded to the scene. The cause of the fire was immediately known. A portion of Route 60 was closed to traffic.
