Drugs Seized In Multiple City Busts

Cocaine, Meth, LSD Found, Six Area Residents Charged In Two-Day Span

Six individuals. Two days. And a bounty of narcotics.

Such was the case for local investigators, who in the past 48 hours, made three separate drug seizures in the city.

On Thursday, at 6 p.m., a Sinclairville man was busted with nearly 30 grams of powder cocaine during a traffic stop on Myers Avenue.

Richard L. Riley, 40, who was found in the backseat, allegedly possessed 29 grams of powder cocaine, two grams of heroin, one gram of methamphetamine and more than two grams of marijuana.

He also reportedly had an imitation pistol that was seized.

Riley was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and three counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

He was arraigned in Jamestown City Court on Friday and committed to the Chautauqua County Jail.

On Thursday, at 8:30 p.m., nearly seven ounces of cocaine were seized during another traffic stop on Lakeview Avenue.

According to Jamestown police, Cindy S. Frank, 45, of Jamestown, allegedly had a large package containing 6.6 ounces of cocaine in her vehicle.

She was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, an A-2 felony; and failure to keep right. She was taken to Jamestown City Jail to await arraignment.

On Friday, shortly after 9 a.m., members of the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force and New York State Police CNET executed a search warrant at 17 Norwood Ave., a residence believed to be a hotbed for drug sales.

Inside, police located a quantity of methamphetamine and prescription medications along with multiple individuals.

Andrew C. Bennett, 28, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia; David R. Hare, 55, was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance; and Patricia J. Bargy, 58, was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Police also charged Destiny J. Franze-Hare, 28, with four counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance after she was observed leaving in a vehicle.

The vehicle was later impounded and meth, prescription pills and LSD were reportedly found inside.

All four individuals were taken to the Jamestown City Jail to await arraignment.

Additional charges are pending further investigation, police said.
