City woman charged again with endangering welfare of children

A Jamestown woman has been charged with endangering the welfare of children for the second time this year. At 7:30 p.m. Monday, city police officers responded to a home on the city’s north side for a reported domestic incident. Serina L. Penhollow, 35, of Jamestown was charged after officers found the home had a quantity of rotten food, accumulated trash built up, animal feces and a plethora of bugs. RANDOLPH - Randolph Central School board members have spent the summer reflecting after the defeat of its 2026-27 budget - and the board is pledging to do a better job communicating with district residents moving forward. Woman charged after dog, cats found alone in Stockton

STOCKTON -- A woman is facing charges after leaving three animals abandoned at a location on Route 380. Chautauqua County Sheriff's Department reported Thursday it received an animal complaint on July 2. Through an investigation it was determined that Katherine Gonzalez, 42, who deputies reported as homeless, did abandon a dog and two cats at a residence with no means of care. Gonzalez was charged with overdriving, torturing and injuring animals; failure to provide proper sustenance and abandonment of animals. She will be in town court later.
