JAMESTOWN POLICE
– Johnathon Robert Martinez, 21, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree assault and criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation at 4:59 a.m. Wednesday after officers responded to an east side address for a reported domestic dispute. Martinez allegedly applied pressure to another person’s neck, making the person unable to breathe for a short period of time. Martinez also allegedly bit the other person’s shoulder, causing a physical injury. Martinez was charged and taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.
– Dylan M. Abbey, 32, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia, and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance while Tracy A. Wadsworth, 39, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia and second-degree criminal impersonation at 11 p.m. Tuesday after officers responded to a west side address for a reported suspicious situation. Officers made contact with the vehicle and located Abbey getting out. Officers had prior knowledge that Abbey had an active arrest warrant through the Jamestown Police Department and placed him into custody. Officers located a second man in the passenger seat who initially identified himself as Jay Wadsworth. Officers were able to determine this was not his name, and he provided his real name, Tracy A. Wadsworth. Wadsworth also had an active warrant through the Jamestown Police Department and was placed into custody. Abbey was allegedly found in possession of methamphetamine. A search of the vehicle allegedly resulted in officers finding 102.4 grams of methamphetamine, 15.1 grams of cocaine, a quantity of methamphetamine, packaging materials, digital scales and a large sum of currency. Both Abbey and Wadsworth were taken to the city jail until they could be arraigned.
– Tristan I. Eisenhart of Jamestown was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree unlawful imprisonment at 10:12 p.m. Tuesday after officers responded to a south side home for a reported domestic dispute. Upon arrival, officers made contact with Eisenhart and a woman. Eisenhart allegedly had restrained the woman in a bedroom during the argument and also damaged property belonging to the woman. Eisenhart was charged and taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.
– James K. Johnson, 55, of Jamestown was charged with being a fugitive from justice, two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and local bench warrants at 3:46 p.m. Tuesday after officers on patrol on the city’s west side saw Johnson and knew he had a bench warrant for failing to appear in Jamestown City Court. Additionally, Johnson was wanted additionally by the Lakewood-Busti Police Department for fourth-degree grand larceny and third-degree burglary as well as the Pennsylvania Department of Parole for a parole violation. Officers charged Johnson and allegedly found him with methamphetamine and fentanyl. Johnson was taken to the Jamestown City Jail until he could be arraigned. Extradition is pending.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
– HANOVER – Kimberly R. Bennett, 40, of Farnham was charged Tuesday with endangering the welfare of a child, unlicensed operator and failed to yield right of way on a left turn Tuesday night following a vehicle accident. It is alleged that around 5:50 p.m. Bennett allowed her unlicensed juvenile daughter to operate the vehicle on Route 5 and 20 which caused a personal injury accident to occur. All parties involved in the accident were taken by EMS staff to Brooks Memorial Hospital for their non-life-threatening injuries. Bennet will be in Hanover Town Court later.
