CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

– PANAMA – William E. Curry, 42, of Panama was charged early Friday morning with two counts of second-degree harassment. It is alleged that Curry had slapped a victim in the face and threw an item and struck another individual. He was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail to await centralized arraignment.

JAMESTOWN POLICE

– Michelle Wasson, 47, of Jamestown was charged with driving while ability impaired and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance at 3:51 p.m. Thursday after officers responded to an east side business for a vehicle complaint. Officers located a woman slumped over behind the wheel of a vehicle. Wasson was asked to step out of the vehicle and was allegedly found to be operating the motor vehicle in an impaired condition. Wasson was also allegedly found in possession of heroin. Wasson was taken to the city jail and released to a sober party with an appearance ticket to be in Jamestown City Court later.
