CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
– GERRY – Toni Long, 35, and Robert Johnston, 33, both of Sinclairville were both charged on March 29 with second-degree criminal trespass, fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, and petit larceny. It is alleged that Long and Johnston trespassed on private property on Damon Hill Road on more than one occasion, and took multiple items from the property while on scene without permission. They were released with appearance tickets to be in Gerry Town Court later.
JAMESTOWN POLICE
– Mariah J. Crandall, 21, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree unlawful imprisonment at 6:02 a.m. Wednesday after officers responded to a west side address for a reported domestic dispute. Crandall allegedly prevented a person from leaving the bathroom by blocking the door and allegedly damaged a towel rack during the dispute. Crandall was taken to the city jail pending arraignment.
– Alyssa R. Payne, 33, of Jamestown was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, second-degree harassment, resisting arrest and third-degree criminal trespass at 8:20 a.m. Monday after allegedly hitting a school security officer at a Jamestown Public School building. Officers responded to one of the district’s buildings to remove Payne from the grounds after she allegedly became disorderly within the building. She allegedly began to threaten staff in a student-populated area when she was told she needed to leave the building. Payne allegedly refused and continued subjecting multiple students, including her child, to her outburst. A school security officer then began to escort Payne out of the building when she allegedly began to push and punch the officer. Once advised that she was under arrest, Payne allegedly resisted arrest by pushing and pulling away from officers. Payne was charged, arraigned and released on her own recognizance to be in court later.
