JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

– Christine M. Baca, 31, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree criminal impersonation, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and was arrested for an outstanding arrest warrant from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office at 4:07 a.m. Thursday after officers patrolling Brooklyn Square in Jamestown saw a woman acting suspiciously. The woman allegedly gave a false name before officers identified her as Baca. Baca was also allegedly found in possession of a small amount of fentanyl. She was taken to the city jail until she could be arraigned.

– Robert I. Owens III, 23, of Jamestown was charged with first-degree criminal contempt after officers patrolling the area near Prendergast Avenue and Crossman Street at 12:20 a.m. Thursday saw Owens allegedly walking with a person who had a valid order of protection against Owens. Police report that Owens’ criminal history led police to charge him with first-degree criminal contempt. Owens was charged and taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.

– Jose E. Roman, 38, of Jamestown was charged with three counts of second-degree criminal contempt at 3:38 a.m. Wednesday after officers responded to a west side address for a report of an unwanted man. Officers allegedly found Roman was outside of the residence of three people that he has an order of protection to stay away from. Roman was charged and taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.
